So if that was on a t- and someone came by with their iPhone or Android Smart phone which are equipped with QR Code readers so they read the QR Code off your shirt and  and then like it on Facebook and share it with all their Friends so that T- shirt that definitely isn't digital marketing just got shared how many times on Facebook or Twitter now that's  definitely digital marketing. That is just one simple example there are many others. I think these QR Codes are going to be just part of normal marketing now that everyone has the iPhone QR Code reader and Android QR code readers in their pockets. Think of this from an SEO perspective for just getting your link out there in the world with things like videos and quotes and pictures etc. All geared to bring more search traffic to your website or blog.

Avon products and the Avon Catalog have been huge hits since they have been in business since 1886. They are the largest direct marketer of beauty products for women and now recently they have started a men's line as well. In 1886 the first Avon lady was actually a man and in the beginning he was actually selling books but then he saw perfumes were selling better than his books so he started the California Perfume Company. One of the advantages especially for Avon products is that in some of these countries the ladies want their cosmetics to come from outside their country. Cosmetics that are imported have a higher intrinsic value to them.
MARK  - Mark is just a boys name to you and me but to Avon it's their low cost products for teenage girls who are just getting into makeup according to Avon research there are about 320 million young ladies between 16-24 who spend over 200 billion dollars annually on consumer goods. This market is a huge opportunity for Avon. Mark is a brand for young ladies that are making their mark in the world
     So, with the growth here in the United States and the growth in the overseas markets like South America, Asia, and Eastern Europe not to mention the whole Mark line of products Avon is looking like a true growth prospect. Because as these teenagers become women and start to buy more products and more expensive products they are the same customer number but they drive more profit to the Avon Company.      Ford, it's not a name you think of when talking about high mileage vehicles with their class leading F-150 pickup being a perennial bestseller in the truck market, despite great competition from the other companies.

How Many Twilight Breaking Dawn Readers Will See Twilight Breaking Dawn Movie

     Twilight Breaking Dawn was a fabulous success for Amazon. They sold one million three hundred thousand copies of Twilight Breaking Dawn the book on the first day of sales not bad for the first day huh. Breaking Dawn is the fourth novel in the Twilight series by the author Stephenie Meyer
     Breaking Dawn the Movie distributed by Summit Entertainment  grossed one hundred thirty five point nine million dollars this weekend driven by all those sales of books and the girls and moms that read them and want to see more, coming from the dreams of that author Stephenie Meyer. These stories are very universal of course they have the vampires  and there is this otherworldly part to the stories but the universality pulls in the audiences from a large cross section of people. Mostly teenage girls and moms but many others as well because the stories are so universal they deal in love and hate and conquest and conquering out enemies and doing whatever it takes for love. Who hasn't been in that spot before. So this series may be over however Amazon and the producers of this film are still going to make boatloads of money from it. As you can see in the trailer this movie looks like it's going to be pretty interesting to the vampire lovers out there. This movie features a Honeymoon and pregnancy so it's pretty intense for the mostly female audience that saw it this weekend. So see the movie to follow the exploits of Bella, Edward, and Jacob as they continue their journey.

Amazon Kindle Sales Drive Kindle Book Sales

     Amazon's hit the Amazon Kindle and now the Amazon Kindle Fire have,  I'm sure far surpassed the goals set for them by the people at Amazon. I think we all know that avid reader of regular books who was at first "I will never change to an amazon kindle" who now sits happily clicking to the next page and shows it off to their Friends and excitedly explains the virtues of the device to anyone who will listen.
     That is one of the greatest aspects of the Amazon Kindle is the simplicity of use almost like a book itself. From simple pressing a button to turn a page to pressing a button to buy another book which has a large impact on Amazon's bottom line. One of the better features of the kindle is the ability to read a couple chapters of the book to see if you will like it before you buy it. This does two things it drives you to purchase the book. But also drives you to only purchase books you will like therefore giving you a better buying experience.
     In July of 2010 Kindle book sales were larger than Amazon's Hardcover book sales that is a pretty good feat in itself. But then in January of this year they surpassed paperback sales and as of this time they have gone past both metrics in sales. So more kindle books are being sold than both hardcover and paperback from amazon. That is simply amazing.      Another part of the sales puzzle of Kindle Books is sales of the Kindle itself. Prices have been dramatically lowered from $259.00 originally to now you can buy one for $99.00 pretty much anywhere they are sold. That is another piece of the puzzle as well the fact that they are sold everywhere. Before you could only buy one at Amazon.com and now you can buy one at Office Max if you want to. So, simplicity of use, simplicity of purchasing, prices lowering, and availability of the product have all allowed the Kindle to be the leader of Ereader technology and a winner for Amazon for now the the Kindle Fire is only the future for them
