Mehndi Designs, Tattoo and Henna Body Art

Body Art
Tattoos
Body art now is mainstream. Where before it used to be just the biker or that guy that had been in prison that had body art now it's pretty much all age groups and socioeconomic classes who are enjoying body art. Many people now have at least one tattoo on their skin and others have many more. A lot of people when you see a peek of a tattoo sticking out of a sleeve or the top of a swimsuit the next question is how many tats do you have? More often than not it will be more than just the one. Since tattooing has joined the popular culture the growth of tattooing has been huge also with shows on TV like Miami Ink giving TV time to some very talented designers and artists it makes people think wow I want that or I wonder what that artist could do for me.
Henna Tattoos
Henna tattoos are much like regular tattoos except for one major thing they fade away from your skin in about two weeks time. Pretty cool right you get to try out your tattoo and see if you like it and if not it fades away in two weeks time and doesn't require a laser or anything to take it off. You see this a lot on students or kids under age to get a real tattoo just trying it out or trying to get their parents upset as a joke hey mom look at my new tattoo. That kind of thing.
Mehndi Designs
Mehndi Designs are very intricate henna tattoo designs on the hands usually done in Arabic countries or by Arabic people but this too will spread in America because they are beautiful designs around the hands and wrists. Most Mehndi designs start off as small paisley designs almost with ovals and circles and straight lines connecting them. They come out very beautifully with a good henna artist but this is something you could try yourself because if it goes wrong then it will disappear in 2 weeks.
These different types of body arts are coming from different places and popular culture is attaching to the different types of body art and making them more popular with different groups of people. So for instance with the Mehndi Designs they are Arabic but it will only be a matter of time before you see your average American kid sporting Mehndi because all his friends do. So that's how things grow and evolve and change
